Prayer is requested
Ted and Tammy are in Baltimore. Surgery starts at 7:30am Monday August 9th. Please start praying for healing and God's direction.
TED AND I ARRIVED IN BALTIMORE SATURDAY AFTERNOON WE ENJOYED A RELAXING MEAL AT THE INNER HARBOR. TODAY TED AND I TOURED BALTIMORE BY WATER TAXI, IT IS A QUICK AND EASY WAY TO TOUR BALTIMORE. WHEN WE CHECKED OUT OF THE COURTYARD MARRIOTT TODAY TED WAS HAVING A TELEPHONE CONVERSATION HE GOT ALITTLE EMOTIONAL. THE RECIPTIONS AT THE FRONT DESK NOTICE THAT TED WAS UPSET SHE CAME OVER TO OFFER ENCOURAGEMENT HER NAME WAS ELIZABETH SHE TOLD US THAT SHE BORN AGAIN CHRISTIN AND HAD TRAVELED TO ISRAL, AND EGYPT PREACHING THE GOSPEL. SHE QUOTED SEVERAL BIBLE VERSES SEVERAL WE HAVE USED IN THIS BLOG: ISAIAH 53:5 UPON HIM WAS CHASTISEMENT THAT BROUGHT US PEACE, AND WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALTED. WE ARE CLAIMING HEALING FOR THE BLADDER CANCER. LARRY AND DARLENE,AND PENNY ARRIVED AROUND 2:30 PM BARRY AND GLORIA ARRIVED AROUND 6:30 PM. TED AND I HAVE A CLOSE FAMILY WHEN ONE OF US HURT WE ALL SURROUND THEM WITH LOVE AND PRAYERS AND ENCOURAGEMENT. THEY ALL HAVE TRAVEL ALONG WAY TO BE HERE WITH US FOR THE SURGEY. WE ARE SENDING OUR PRAYER REQUEST TO EACH OF YOU TO PLEASE KEEP US IN YOUR PRAYERS. WE ARE PRAYING THAT TED GETS THE NEO BLADDER. SOMEONE WILL UPDATE THE BLOG TOMORROW.
Well guys . . . hate to be original, but, my favorite verse just seems so appropriate for you tonight.
Philippians 4:6-8 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God that passes all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Jesus Christ.
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.
I know you have your bible right by your side and are reading all of the promises of God. May they be of comfort to you tomorrow!
I also know that you two will be a blessing to everyone you meet and people who don't have God in their lives will wonder where you get your peace.
